Bradbush House

Ian & Barbara Neale are your hosts at Bradbush House on Darnaway Estate, nestled in the heart of Moray, just outside of Forres.

Welcome To Our Home

They look forward to welcoming you to their home, which they run as a traditional and comfortable fishing lodge close to the banks of the River Findhorn. They both enjoy meeting new people and assure their guests have an enjoyable stay.

The History Of Bradbush House

Bradbush House is an attractive country house built in the late 1800’s and is of traditional sandstone construction. The house has recently been fully refurbished and tastefully decorated throughout with a fine blend of antique and modern furniture with a traditional Scottish touch.

Bradbush Bed & Breakfast

Bradbush House caters for everyone and is available to guests for Bed & Breakfast throughout the fishing season. Picnic lunches can also be arranged. For evening dining out, some excellent local restaurants and pubs are nearby in Forres and Findhorn, which we are happy to recommend.

On the ground floor, the main sitting room and dining room are both comfortable and welcoming, with good open fireplaces and fine views over the gardens.

Adjoining the back of the house is a large conservatory, which overlooks the rear garden and woodlands beyond.

Comfortable Accommodation

Bradbush House offers comfortable accommodation with three spacious double/twin bedrooms, each with their own respective bathrooms/shower rooms. Fluffy white robes and towels are also provided.

  • Bedroom 1 is furnished with a King size double bed and has an ensuite shower room.
  • Bedroom 2 is furnished with a Super King size double bed and has an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub.
  • Bedroom 3 is at the top of the first flight of stairs and is furnished with a Super King size double bed. This bedroom can also be converted into a twin bedded room. The bathroom allocated for this bedroom has a shower and bathtub.

Gardens & Local Woodland

Bradbush House is situated most attractively in its own glorious gardens surrounded by mixed woodlands and totally secluded off the beaten track close to the Darnaway forest. Bradbush House is just three miles from the River Findhorn at Daltullich Bridge and is located within easy access to all of the main Lower and Middle Findhorn River Beats.

If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere after a day on the river or just a peaceful place to retreat and wish to enjoy all that the Highlands and the Moray Coast have to offer, Bradbush House will gladly accommodate your needs.

For non-fishing guests, Bradbush House is situated in the perfect location for riverside and woodland walks, where you will see a variety of flora and fauna. You may also see roe deer, red squirrels, capercaillie, the osprey and an abundance of other wild birdlife.

There are magnificent beaches within easy reach along the Moray Coast. There are also numerous golf courses, from Nairn’s championship links to smaller nine-hole courses within a reasonable distance. The area is, without doubt, a fishing and golfing paradise.
